Is the founder, and Director of CERAIN. He is a robotics engineer, AI researcher, and ANI (artificial narrow intelligence) Developer. He has been in robotics since 1986. An alumnus of Chicago State University & NIU, Jokari has dedicated his life to sensible/ethical AI, robotics, and other science & tech to be used for the good of humanity, and to promoting ethical STEM/STEAM education for the youth, as well as promoting human (NON-AI) artists, musicians, and interaction.
Yogini Aduni Hapi identifies, researches, and oversees all matters with respect to the ethics (or lack thereof) of artificial intelligence as it relates to art & music. She is a Chicago native, who has embodied art from multiple dimensions. She is a paint, and drawing artists (amongst other types of art), as well as a Yoga instructor, and nature advocate. She is also a school an administrator & faculty member for our STEM/STEAM school,
Goya Ramirez, originally hailing from Oakland, CA, has embarked on a diverse journey through life. As a marine, residential, and commercial carpenter she built and crafted with precision for 18 years. However, Goya's quest for knowledge led her down a new path. Now living in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Goya decided to pivot her career and earned a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Engineering. In this ever-evolving field, she discovered her passion for securing digital landscapes.
Beyond her technical pursuits, Goya's creative spirit shines through. She is a creative artist who embraces poetic expressions into her life, demonstrating that even in the realm of technology, artistry knows no bounds.
PapaCanoochee is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an expert in ethical issues pertaining to usage of artificial intelligence in academia. He is an AI Researcher mainly in the fields of AI relating to academia & AI being used in the legal field.
Bernard Boston is a Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at Norfolk State University, bringing a multidisciplinary background in electrical engineering (M.S., Northern Illinois University) and physics to CERAIN’s mission. His research at CERN on the ALICE Detector upgrade, specializing in the Fast Interaction Trigger system, demonstrates his hands-on expertise in advanced instrumentation—a skill set he now applies to ethical AI and nanotechnology development at CERAIN. Bernard focuses on responsible innovation, particularly in nanomaterial applications for robotics and AI systems, while evaluating emerging technologies through ethical frameworks. His technical proficiency spans microcontact printing, 3D prototyping, and engineering software (AutoCad, Revit, B2 Spice), bridging hardware development with AI safety research. Recognized with a Virginia Academy of Science Fellowship (VASEM/COVES) and awards for his CERN-related work, Bernard embodies CERAIN’s commitment to technical excellence guided by ethical responsibility.
An alumnus of Chicago State University, Gabriel plans to earn his graduate degree in astrophysics after he serves as an officer in the Army. Afterward, he seeks to apply to the Astronaut Selection Program. Over the summer he was a study abroad student in Switzerland at CERN. He also attended the Summer Student Lecture program, and helped with the ALICE experiment at the LHC (Large Hadron Collider).
Originally from Venezuela, "Beba" researches, and trains artificial intelligence to understand the nuances amongst languages, dialects, and cultures throughout Latin-American countries. She also seeks to use AI to turn her love for fútbol (soccer), Boxing, and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) into a video game.
